Each plaque is made with reclaimed wood and a vintage golf club with hand-lettered classic quote from Gary Player, one of the all time greats. A gift for golf lovers that they will appreciate and display proudly, reminding them of their love of the game.

Gary Player, the wonder from down under, AKA The Black Knight, was a contemporary of Palmer and Nicklaus and Watson and is known for being an early adopter of a health and fitness regimen and a leader in bringing physical fitness into golf. His quote is a classic and rings true to anyone who has ever put in the time to get good at something.

I do all of the lettering on these myself. I salvage the wood and golf clubs, and I make all the plaques too, with occasional help from my family in busy times! It’s a labor of love for me. I love the game, I love upcycling and using reclaimed materials, and giving new life to old golf clubs.

This item comes in 11″ x 14″. It is 1″ thick with a saw tooth hanger mounted on the back for easy wall hanging.

Color:

The “color” in the variations refers to the background color.

Reclaimed imperfections:

This unique gift for golf lovers is made from reclaimed materials, so there will be slight variations from item to item and normal distress due to the salvaged nature of the wood and clubs.

Clubs:

This item is made using the coolest club available at the time of assembly. The club you receive may be different than the one on the sample photo. If you would like a specific club on your item, please drop me a line and I’m happy to oblige if I have that club in the shop.
