Bagger Vance!

I love Steven Pressfield’s writing! If you haven’t read Bagger Vance, I recommend it, even if you’ve seen the movie. Also, Pressfield’s “Your Authentic Swing” is a great little golf book. He was a caddy in NY as a youngster, he writes what he knows.
I first discovered Steven Pressfield’s writing with his inspirational and motivational books, The War of Art, and Do the Work, which are awesome.
For war and history buffs, his book on the Spartans and the battle of Thermopylae, Gates of Fire, is excellent too.
I sort of abridged the Bagger quote to fit on the 9” x 12” wood, but I love the sentiment of finding the swing that’s within us.
The full quote is here, it applies to life AND golf, in my opinion:
